Universal Business Language provides XML document structures used by Peppol specifications.
In practice
An invoice is represented using a UBL Invoice XML document.
Syntax describes the document’s structure. A Peppol specification supplies further business rules; a syntactically valid XML file is not automatically a conforming Peppol document.
