Chad
Chad has a national facture électronique normalisée (FEN) regime: Ministry of Finance guidance describes electronic fiscal invoices, taxpayer registration and procedures for outages; current rollout notices and later legal amendments still need checking.

Invoicing and electronic documents
Facturation électronique normalisée (FEN)
The Ministry publishes a national registration process linked to an active, validated E-tax NIF and registration for VAT, profit tax or the impôt général libératoire. Its guide describes requesting installation and accepting the FEN conditions.

Peppol
Chad has no national Peppol Authority, so OpenPeppol acts as the authority. No Peppol use for domestic invoicing was found in the sources reviewed.

Chad has published national FEN guidance. The registration guide explains the NIF and tax-registration prerequisites; the obligations guide covers issuance and continuity during outages.
These ministry documents establish more than the regional CEMAC framework, but do not verify every current rollout phase or later Finance Law amendment. Confirm the business's notification and applicable production service with the tax administration. The guides establish no Peppol delivery requirement.
Legal guide
FEN · statutory basis
National obligation described by the ministryThe ministry cites Finance Law 016/PT/2022, article 17, establishing FEN from 1 January 2023. It covers commercial, industrial and craft operations by VAT, corporate-tax and impôt général libératoire taxpayers. Later amendments and implementation phases remain to be verified.

Harmonised invoice contentThe CEMAC directive supplies a regional invoice-content framework. Chad also has its own FEN provisions and implementation guidance; the regional directive alone does not establish national operational details.
