Peppol

The Turks and Caicos Islands has no Peppol Authority on OpenPeppol’s list, so OpenPeppol acts as the authority. Use is voluntary and agreed between trading partners.

No general consumption tax was found in the sources reviewed, so invoice content rules come from the sector taxes. Hotels, all-inclusive resorts and designated restaurants must show the tax separately on guest statements and keep copies, as the 2019 Ordinance requires. The rules set the content, not an electronic format.

The government says it is restructuring the tax system, so check for new legislation before building a long-term setup. Peppol use is a choice made with each trading partner through a certified service provider.
